Urchin 6.6 is Released!
Urchin 6.6 has been released today! Current Urchin 6 customers may download and upgrade for free here: http://www.google.com/urchin/download.html. This is the biggest minor upgrade made to Urchin 6 since it was originally released earlier in 2008. It's list of new features include:
Tighter Google AdWords Integration
Urchin now allows for much more interaction with your AdWords account and campaigns. Click here for more information
Integration with Yahoo Search Marketing (YSM)
Now you may import your YSM data using CPC Sources. Also, copy your YSM campaigns into AdWords using the Copy Campaign Tool.
Data Extraction API
Data may now be extracted from Urchin using SOAP 1.x or REST protocols. Click here for more information
New Reporting Features
New report sections, as well as a rollup report have been added. Click here for more information
External Authentication using LDAP
External authentication may now be configured on a per-use basis. Modules for LDAP and MSAD are provided with Urchin 6.6, however custom modules may be integrated as well.
Miscellaneous
- Like Urchin 5, cancel a running task with the click of a button.
- Profile data folders are now renamed when a profile is.
- The Urchin 5 data conversion utility (convert-u5data) has been improved.
- Urchin 6.6 no longer supports MySQL 4.x.x. MySQL must be upgraded to at least MySQL 5.03.
- To improve the user experience, Urchin 6.6 now uses client-side cookies.
