Urchin 6 E-Commerce Tracking

Urchin 6 tracks e-commerce transactions through the UTM tracking method. There are two main entities to consider when sending information about an e-commerce transaction:

Transaction
Contains information about the entire transaction, with no consideration to the items purchased in the transaction. Attributes are: Order ID, Store Name, Total, Tax, Shipping, City, State, Country.

Item
Contains information about an individual item, regardless of quantity. Attributes are: Order ID (must match Order ID from the appropriate Transaction), SKU, Product Name, Category, Unit Price, Quantity).

ga.js Tracking Code
Include the following lines after pageTracker.trackPageview(). Call _addItem(...) for each item in the order. Typically, _trackTrans(...) is only called once per order.

pageTracker._addTrans("Order ID", "Store Name", "Total", "Tax", "Shipping", "City", "State", "Country");
pageTracker._addItem("Order ID", "SKU", "Product Name", "Category", "Unit Price", "Quantity");
pageTracker._trackTrans();
