Processing via the command line

Processing a profile from the command line is often a good way to debug why a profile is not processing correctly. Also, it allows custom scripts to kick off processing without the GUI entirely.

To process from the command line, navigate to /path/to/urchin/bin and run urchin -p
. Additional helpful parameters include:

-h : Show all parameters available for use.
-D : Enabled debug mode (show field values for each log line).
-H : Log output to task history.

When debugging a profile, it is recommended to save the output to a separate file for easier reading:

urchin/bin/urchin -D -p myprofile > myprofile_debug.txt

Also, it would be easier to read the debug output and would be quicker to debug just a few lines of the log file.
